Product Reviews
Very good and durable tires for a small truck, excellent on road and surprisingly good off road. I have also seen these tires perform well off road on a Ford Expedition. Performance is similar to all-terrain on 2WD truck but is much quieter and more responsive when cornering. Biggest complaint is treadwear, barely lasted 30k miles, and these tires are expensive.
My tires came stock on my F150 4x4. I currently have 48,000 miles and have had no problems! Will be buying another set again.:)
Came on my truck new Have 63k mi on truck now Still have 5/32 tread Have noticed most neg reviews were 3/4 ton trucks
Factory issued tire, 52,000 miles and shopping for replacement set. Excellent tires for dry highway use, but after the "new" wore off the tread they are hopeless on wet pavement. Many reviews here estimate this is 10-20K which sounds fairly accurate. I'll be looking at Wrangler A/T adventure based on helpful reviews found here. I would purchase these again if all I was doing was driving on dry highways, but this is Minnesota!
I love these tires! I currently have 52k on the original set that came on my '13 GMC 2500, and I'm sure I will reach 65-75k in them before I have to replace them. That's even with pulling a 10k lb. 5th wheel around in the summers. I do keep them rotated, but other than that, I've done nothing to them but drive. I will definitely be buying another set when the time comes.
No tread confidence at 30k. Wimped out! 60k mi. treadlife warranty? NO WAY!
These tires came stock on my '12 Silverado. Before 40k miles, I had replaced 3 tires, 1 twice! Grip dry pavement fine, but mud or snow, forget it. OK on gravel as long as it's dry but still not great. Sidewalls are crap. First one just blew out the sidewall at 36k going down dry highway. If you rub a curb (mine is crew long so it happens) it WILL cause damage. I was sinking about 1.5-2 inches in mud and could barely get out in 4x4. Any more than about an inch of snow, and I have to use 4x4, ridiculous. I now have 50,200 miles on the pickup and one of the two remaining original tires is separating and I had to take it off. It still has pretty decent tread but is unsafe. At least with these tires, my spare gets some use! I've used it more than the one for my last pickup, a '98 that I had for 13 years and had 165k miles! Bottom line, I will never purchase another one of these tires.
I put a lot of miles on my truck and have driven on several long road trips. I've been off road on the farm and I've driven 90+mph on highways. I've never lost traction, and in snow I've gone where other 4x4s have not (it helps that I know how to drive in the snow). This tire is a good mix of ability to go off road and yet have a very smooth drive on highways, which is important, since 97% of the miles on it have been highway driving. If I lived in snow country instead of just visiting, I would get better mud and snow tires, but yet I have driven through feet of snow with no problems whatsoever. The tire wear has been pretty even, but of course I get the wheels aligned often. I've got over 42k miles on them and I'm thinking about replacing two of the tires in a couple of months, since I don't want to buy four at once. I'll have well over 50k on them by winter, and will need four new tires by then, but I don't think 50+ miles on one set of tires is a bad deal.
Came stock on my F150. I have 100,000 km or 62,000 miles on them and could probably get another 10-20,000 out of them they are down too 5/32. I haul a 22ft travel trailer with 16ft boat moter and trailer in tandem and have had no issues with them. The first year I had the truck they were great in the snow however the second year after the first snowstorm I went out and bought snows. They have done me alright off road too. I have driven a lot of off road and hydro trails in northern Ontario up gravel and sand hills on those trails. The steepest I climbed was 71 degree hill. Not sure why others have had issues and I haven't.
These tires came stock on my new 2015 Chevy 2500HD High Country 4X4 diesel. I travel the country and did research because the tread design was a concern. Low and behold the ratings were marginal at best. I replaced them with 2000 miles with Goodyear Adventure which are night and day from the SR-A. They were't cheap but you can't put a price on safety and confidence. I've driven in every on road condition with absolutely no concerns. Unless you live in a sunny warm area stay clear of these tires.
Do not buy this tire! Good for 20,000 miles max.
I've read some of the reviews, and I don't understand it..I'm not having any issues with my SR-A tires that were factory mounted on my 2014 Chevy..I've gone offroad in the steep mountainous areas of my state, without any issues..
Tires came stock on truck. Decent when tread is new but wear poorly after about 10,000 miles. Absolutely horrible if there is any water or snow on the roads. Goodyear claims it is an all terrain tire but that is a joke. Taking them off pretty soon with just under 12,000 miles and switching to Cooper Discoverer AT3's which I hear are an awesome all around all terrain tire.
These tires are cheap with weak sidewalls that pick up nails. They are too soft and have worn out in 50,000 KM - pretty atrocious (many dealers install these garbage tires on a lot of 1/2 tons standard). Buying BF TA KO2 next 'cause I need a heavier, tougher tire.
Decently priced. Tread seems to be wearing evenly, but don't drive high miles.
Great tire.
I bought a used Jeep and the dealership I went to made installing these brand new tires a major selling point. I thought to myself that I won't have to buy new tires for a while. Boy was I wrong! In Maine, we have plenty of snow and I plow driveways on the side and haul a trailer. With these tires, I was all over the road. I turned a corner at 15mph and my 4x4 went sideways. My Jeep has 4 wheel drive full-time, unlike the Jeep I had previously had 4 wheel drive part-time. Even with 4x4, it doesn't help me if the tires can't move the snow out of the way to gain traction. For the first time ever, I jackknifed the trailer. These tires should be rated for dry and wet conditions only - definitely NOT snow. I've never felt so unsafe in my life! Now I have to look to purchase new winter tires before the next nor'easter. I'm very disappointed....
These tires came on the truck from factory. Had continual flats and they all were separating and needed to be replaced by 20,000 miles. Horrible tires that I will never buy.
Tread life is terrible. Wet and winter traction are terrible. Would NOT buy another set.
Awesome tires.
Tires came on truck from factory. Not a good tire for a 4x4. Alright for a 2wd. Have to use 4x4 in wet grass going up a hill. Truck has 20 inch wheels. Have 12,000 miles on them and already showing a lot of wear. The goodyear all terrain adventure would be a better tire for this truck.
Buyers beware! Purchased new a set of four Goodyear Wrangler SRA tires. Recently discovered serious side wall cracking on these tires which has less than 30,000km. I do not believe this cracking is normal and I think it will lead to tire failure. This is my first and last Goodyear tire purchase.
Pretty good tire all the way around.
Nice for factory tires. Start to get loud when worn.
Amazing tire
I haven't had a chance to drive in snow with these tires, but they've done very well for me in all other regards.
I have these tires on my Expedition and had a flat where the tire literally separated. Went flat instantly. Luckily it was on the back and I was not traveling over 30 mph.
